Fodor Jenő (1921 – 1972) állatorvos életének javát Szolnok megyében töltötte. 1945-től 1967-ig a kunhegyesi járás jószágait gyógyította, 1967-től haláláig pedig Szolnokon, a Megyei Állategészségügyi Állomáson dolgozott. Az Állatorvotudományi Főiskola, majd Egyetem többször is felkérte, hogy vegyen részt az államvizsgabizottságok munkájában.
