History
1951-ben az egy karúvá vált Pécsi Tudományegyetem rektori feladatait a jogi kar dékánja látta el. Valódi rektori hivatalról 1975-től beszélhetünk, amikor a Közgazdaságtudományi Kar is csatlakozott az egyetemhez. 1982-ben az intézmény a Tanárképző kar létrejöttével a Janus Pannonius Tudományegyetem nevet vette fel, ennek rektori hivatala egészen a 2000-es intergrációig működött.
